Terms and Conditions
Selecting any of the membership plans of the Iranian Bioinformatics Society constitutes acceptance of the following terms and conditions:
- Enjoying special benefits and discounts for conferences, exhibitions, and scientific-specialist workshops at national, regional, and international levels.
- Introducing, collaborating, and supporting projects, research, and scientific, educational, and research services at national and international levels with the participation of experienced and expert researchers.
- Facilitating the possibility of cooperation with executive, scientific, and industrial organizations and institutions.
- Collaborating, participating, and supporting the publication of scientific and industrial books and journals.
- Including members’ academic, scientific, and professional information in the Society’s database and providing access to meet the needs of industry professionals and services related to chemical technologies.
- Benefiting from the annual scientific and technological awards for outstanding individuals in the fields of science, education, research, entrepreneurship, and industry in the realm of chemical sciences and technologies.
- Membership fees are paid annually.
- Refunds of paid fees are possible through the Contact Us page and only within 72 hours of payment.
- Any suggestions or criticisms can be submitted through the Contact Us page.
- The Society’s identification card can be obtained through the website and is used solely for member identification purposes.
Registration:
- Providing a valid national ID card for member identity verification is mandatory for registration.
- Simply registering on the site does not grant access to all available features on the site.
- To use the site’s features, you must choose one of the membership plans on the site.
- To access the site’s features, first register, then select one of the membership plans and pay the subscription fee.
- Use a valid email and contact number for registration and create strong passwords (including at least 8 characters, one uppercase letter, and one lowercase letter in English).
Login:
- After 3 unsuccessful login attempts (incorrect username or password), your username will be locked for 10 minutes.
- If you forget your password, you can create a new password through the “Forgot Password” section.
Membership Plans:
- There are 5 membership plans available on the site (Student, Non-Student, Organizational, Honorary, Permanent).
- Honorary and Permanent memberships can be obtained based on the conditions and discretion of the Society’s founders, and simply registering on the site does not grant any rights to the user.
- The (Student, Non-Student, Organizational) plans are annual subscriptions, and upon expiration, you must select, pay for, and activate one of the plans again to continue using the site’s features.
Conferences and Events:
- The Iranian Bioinformatics Society website is the only official and valid source for organizing various conferences and events in the field of bioinformatics in Iran and independently provides information.
- Conferences, events, and workshops organized by entities other than the Iranian Bioinformatics Society that are approved by the Society will also be announced.
- To use the site’s features, you must choose one of the membership plans on the site.
